We are super excited to welcome our friends Scott Jurek and Krissy Moehl to the Bay Area and SFRC for a group run and presentation "Preventing and Managing Injuries for the Long Run" presented by Pro-Tec Athletics!
Scott and Krissy will lead a shakeout run from SFRC at 6:00pm on Thursday, November 6, followed by an insightful presentation "Preventing and Managing Injuries for the Long Run" beginning at 7:15 back at SFRC. Our friends from Pro-Tec will have demos and crowd prizes, and our friends Clif Bar and Flora will also be here with snacks and samples for everyone in attendance.
From their combined 35 years of running ultramarathons, Scott and Krissy will cover their top tips for preventing and managing injuries, along with recommendations on how to manage five of the most common running injuries.
This will be a completely jam-packed event. Bring a camping/folding chair to ensure a seat.
Krissy Moehl will also lead out our Saturday morning run at 8am on November 8 and we will have samples from Clif Bar and Flora that morning as well.
